I dozed off a little during the Gonzaga-Baylor game, and sure enough, it's the stroke of midnight and I'm wide awake.
Been reading scripture and praying with my two beautiful kids each of the last couple of mornings, and it bore some fruit tonight: my daughter sat with me when she got home tonight and asked if we could say another little prayer together before she went to bed. And she told me I was always in her heart... She melts me with her kindness quite often for such a young girl.
I have failed my kids a little when it comes to reading and praying with them, so I am determined to stick with it now. I am blessed that, in spite of those failures, my kids love God and have a heart for knowing him and drawing closer to him. I am looking forward to us growing in him together in the upcoming days.
I am looking forward to tomorrow... well technically, later today. Saturday morning has become one of my favorite exercise blocks, so that will be a great start to the day. And my beloved Illinois College Blueboys have a home game tomorrow night, so I'm looking forward to catching them in action. I'll feature them on the blog tomorrow too.
Our wonder dog, Max, isn't having any problem sleeping. I hope whatever I dig out of the iTunes library doesn't wake him.
