Momentum

A little vacation for the blog as I attended AdvoCare Success School in Texas over the weekend. What an experience--very grateful to all my team members who took their time to attend. Special shoutout to Jacob Tucker and Luke Gruender for making the AdvoCare Leadership Team. Had a great weekend hanging out with those two great guys.

Got a great tip yesterday on how to use momentum in our lives, and it made my whole day great. The idea was that we have two choices when it comes to momentum: we can either let motivation and confidence in one area of our lives spill over into all the others, or we can do the same with negativity and insecurity. This seems like a simple concept, but as I meditated on it throughout the day, it became quite powerful. Finding victory in one area, and then letting that victory color the way that we look at the other areas of our life, was a powerful strategy for me yesterday. The momentum of starting my day with a great workout and then applying that momentum to my other daily ventures turned the whole day in a great direction.

We are all bound to have areas of strength and weakness. This tip is essentially about where we put our focus--are we focusing on what we can do, or what we can't?

Today's challenge: Find a little victory for the day and ride the momentum of that victory through the other ventures of your day.
